It’s confirmed by HBO that the most popular thriller series “Games of Thrones” will end after season 8. It’s a news which fans were not expecting to hear. The news came by HBO’s chief of programming Casey Bloys who was attending a summer conference for Television Critics Association. Epic series fans can be happy as the fictional drama might not be disappeared completely as after that possibility of spinoff remains there for which he (Bloys) said “we are open to it. Producers are not against the idea, but there’s no solid plans at the moment”.
Of lately HBO compressed the seventh season to seven episodes instead of ten and will begin the shooting soon but will not air it until next summer. The last cycle of episodes for eighth season has not confirmed yet; but Bloys said “we will take all as many as the (producers) will give us”. The epic series have won dozens of Emmys last year for which Bloys said “It’s always better to win more Emmys, But the main goal is to do the best show possible for our subscribers and fans”.
